Principal Software Engineer, AI

Salesloft is seeking a senior-level Principal Software Engineer, AI for a remote IT position within the USA. In this role, you will set the technical direction for machine intelligence across the company's Predictive Revenue System, architecting systems that integrate LLMs, machine learning models, and agentic workflows into production capabilities for enterprise revenue teams. The salary for this position is $165,000.

Key Responsibilities for the AI Role

• Define technical architecture for AI systems, including model serving, LLM features, agentic workflows, and underlying infrastructure.
• Design production-grade, reliable systems using probabilistic AI components.
• Build evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and quality systems to ensure safe and trustworthy AI behavior at enterprise scale.
• Tackle complex AI engineering challenges from prototyping to production.
• Establish engineering standards, mentor senior engineers, and evaluate new foundation models and agent frameworks.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and bring 5+ years of relevant experience.
