Mattermost is seeking a Senior Account Executive – Federal (Intelligence Community Focus) for a senior-level sales role based in the USA. This quota-carrying individual contributor position focuses on owning and expanding a strategic territory centered on the U.S. Intelligence Community, managing a significant multi-million-dollar renewal footprint alongside net-new growth.

The position requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, bringing deep domain expertise within the Intelligence Community, established relationships with agency acquisition and mission stakeholders, and experience collaborating with Federal Systems Integrators and cleared partners. The salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000.

Core Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Intelligence Community territory across agencies, program offices, and mission-aligned stakeholders in classified environments.
• Drive strategic renewals and multi-year account expansion, maintaining executive ownership of large-scale renewals while partnering with an Account Manager.
• Close complex enterprise SaaS transactions, navigating FAR/DFARS requirements, security reviews, accreditation workflows, and contract vehicles like IDIQs, GWACs, and OTAs.
• Execute a federal partner ecosystem motion by building co-sell relationships with major cleared Federal Systems Integrators such as Booz Allen Hamilton, Leidos, SAIC, Northrop Grumman, and Palantir.
• Deliver predictable revenue by maintaining high forecast accuracy, deal hygiene, and pipeline rigor in Salesforce.
