Senior Atlassian Administrator

1Password is seeking a remote Senior Atlassian Administrator based in Canada or the USA to join the Enterprise Tools team in our IT department. As we continue to grow—surpassing $400M in ARR and earning recognition on the Forbes Cloud 100—we need an experienced professional to own Jira and Statuspage, managing an expanding Atlassian platform that supports both engineering and business organizations.

Role Architecture and Responsibilities

In this senior-level position requiring a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of hands-on Jira administration experience in a large-scale enterprise environment, you will drive the architecture, configuration, workflows, governance, and day-to-day health of our tools. We are looking for someone with an AI builder mentality who brings deep expertise in managing the Atlassian Cloud Enterprise ecosystem, configuring Jira, building complex automation rules, and administering Statuspage. Additional experience with Confluence, Jira Service Management, ITSM principles, and corporate compliance standards is highly valued.

Candidate Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on Jira administration experience in a large-scale enterprise environment
• Bachelor's degree
• Deep experience managing Atlassian Cloud Enterprise ecosystem and sandbox environments
• Deep expertise in Jira configuration and scaling governance standards
• Strong skills in Jira Automation, REST APIs, webhooks, and basic scripting languages like python, javascript, or groovy
• Experience with Statuspage administration, third-party marketplace apps, and aligning configurations with compliance and audit standards
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
