Senior Preconstruction Manager / Technische Akquise (m/w/d)

GROPYUS, a technology-based construction company located in Berlin, is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Manager / Technische Akquise (m/w/d) to join their management team on a senior level. In this role, you will act as the key link between clients and projects, translating client requirements into technical and economical concepts based on the company's timber hybrid building system for multi-story residential buildings. Please note that this position involves working with qualified project inquiries and established client relationships with no cold calling required, and prior experience in timber construction is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive client consulting for turn-key, multi-story residential projects from initial inquiry to contract signing.
• Own the entire sales and bidding process, including client communication, workshops, technical clarifications, and closing.
• Develop technically and economically compelling proposals based on the timber hybrid building system, covering calculation and technical concepts.
• Coordinate relevant interfaces for proposal creation and project development such as architecture, planning, purchasing, production, finance, and legal.
• Negotiate and finalize construction contracts under BGB and VOB, while supporting existing client relationships and contributing to sales process development.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable role such as technical acquisition, bid management, preconstruction, or sales engineering in structural engineering.
• Experience in turn-key construction (GU/GÜ), ideally within residential building.
• Strong practical understanding of construction, exceptional communication skills, client orientation, and strong negotiation abilities.
