Senior Software Engineer in LATAM, Europe, or USA

Cloudbeds is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its completely remote IT team and help build the financial backbone of the hospitality industry. Operating across LATAM, Europe, and the USA, you will work within the Payments tribe to design secure, scalable payment systems that process billions in transactions annually for nearly 10,000 properties globally. This senior-level role offers a salary range of $130,000 to $160,000.

Core Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of PHP web application software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL (tuning and optimization skills preferred)
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing event-driven microservices in PHP or Java
• Familiarity with modern infrastructure tooling such as DataDog, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Terraform, and ArgoCD
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices, design patterns, automated testing, and a dedication to system observability
