Senior Software Engineer, Platform

Qventus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Platform for an IT role based in the USA. In this senior-level position, you will act as the technical lead for the Web Applications Platform team, which builds the foundation for every application at Qventus, owning shared services like authentication, identity, configuration, and the deployment paths that deliver code to hospital customer environments.

Role Responsibilities and Requirements

• Lead a team of engineers by setting technical direction, owning the roadmap with stakeholders, and writing code or configurations.
• Drive cross-team architectural choices impacting multiple applications and define how engineering utilizes AI coding tools, standards, and security guardrails.
• Require a Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience building and operating production software.
• Bring prior experience on platform, infrastructure, internal tools, or developer-facing teams.
• Demonstrate strong skills in Python, Django, FastAPI, Kubernetes, GitOps delivery (Helm, ArgoCD), and owning authentication or authorization systems.
• Possess excellent project management and communication skills.

Compensation

The salary for this Senior Software Engineer, Platform position is $180,000, complemented by benefits and perks such as Open Paid Time Off, paid parental leave, and professional development.
