Zuora is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Revenue) for an IT role based in the Foster City, CA office. This senior-level hybrid position requires working onsite three days per week. The salary for this role is $164,800.

Role Expectations and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD, Specialized Diploma, or a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field, alongside 8+ years of software development experience specializing in enterprise SaaS software. You will design, develop, test, and operate scalable enterprise SaaS applications, build next-generation Revenue products, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

  • Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or another object-oriented language
  • Robust database and SQL knowledge, including Oracle or MySQL, data modeling, and performance tuning
  • Expertise in web services, SOA, RPC (REST, gRPC, Thrift), and API design
  • A demonstrated AI-first approach to engineering across the development and testing lifecycle

Additional nice-to-have skills include hands-on experience with Cloud and DevOps technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Kafka, and AWS services, as well as experience with distributed systems and big data.
