Carrot, the leading global fertility and family care platform trusted by multinational employers and health plans across 195 countries, is seeking a senior-level IT professional for a Sr. Data Engineer role based in the USA. This senior position offers a salary range of $145,000 to $165,000 per year.

In this role, you will lead the evolution, reliability, and scalability of Carrot's modern data infrastructure. Working across the full data lifecycle, you will architect and maintain automated pipelines, optimize cloud platforms, and partner with internal teams like Business Intelligence, Product, Finance, Legal, and Commercial.

Core Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Requires a Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Pipeline Development: Build, test, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, dbt, Prefect, and Airflow.
• Cloud Management: Optimize cloud-based data warehouse and lake platforms including Snowflake, AWS (S3, Redshift), and Google Cloud.
• Integration and Security: Design secure external data flows via SFTP, Files.com, and APIs while enforcing governance and compliance.
• Team Leadership: Act as a technical mentor, driving system maturity, automation, and best practices in version control and code review.

During your first 12 to 18 months, success in this position includes taking end-to-end ownership of core pipelines, automating manual workflows, delivering trusted and secure data integrations, and strengthening platform observability.
