Staff Product Manager

SumUp is hiring a Staff Product Manager for a senior-level management position based in Berlin, Germany. In this office-first role, you will lead the Engagement tribe and take ownership of the merchant-facing super app, web dashboard, and core platforms relied upon by over 4 million business owners. The annual salary for this position ranges from €130,000 to €280,000.

Staff Product Manager Role and Responsibilities

You will establish product strategy and use data-driven insights for discovery and prioritization. Your core duties include:

• Owning the end-to-end user experience, information architecture, and navigation of the super app and web dashboard.
• Identifying opportunities for activation, upsell, cross-sell, and retention to drive long-term merchant value.
• Maintaining the company-wide design system and overseeing mobile and web platforms to improve developer experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Staff-level individual contributor or equivalent, successfully managing multiple squads and delivering results in retention, engagement, or monetization.
• Background in high-growth tech, fintech, or consumer apps, alongside familiarity with App Store and Play Store release processes.
• A strong eye for design and customer research, paired with the technical ability to discuss platform architecture and build pipelines with senior engineers.
