Cision is seeking a Staff Software Developer for a senior-level IT role based in Canada. In this position, you will work closely with product, design, and Principal Engineers to develop and enhance applications by managing AI intent within a spec-driven development framework. You will orchestrate AI agents to generate production-ready code and automated tests while utilizing multi-LLM workflows for verification and quality assurance.
Core Responsibilities and Strategy
- Orchestrate complex multi-LLM workflows and define best practices for AI-native coding and code verification.
- Develop broad solutions across the ecosystem while managing technical debt.
- Mentor Senior and II-level engineers to foster high performance and trust.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shape product roadmaps and refine the spec-driven development framework.
- Ensure all AI-generated solutions meet strict security, performance, and maintainability standards.
Requirements and Qualifications

- Experience required: 5+ years (source text notes eight or more years of experience in solution delivery and technical leadership).
- Advanced mastery of GitHub Copilot Agent Mode, SDD, and AI-driven debugging.
