Ericsson Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Level System Developer to join the RAN Baseband System Management team in Ottawa, ON. This position focuses on Radio Access Network technology, contributing directly to global 5G deployments and ongoing 6G research. As a System Developer, you will work on signal processing, radio resource management, physical layer algorithms, and software simulation development. Your daily work will involve:
To be considered for this IT position, you must have at least 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or an equivalent field. You should possess a strong background in communications theory and digital signal processing, along with specific knowledge of 5G NR mobile communication systems, particularly in the Physical Layer and Radio Resource Management.
Technical proficiency in Java, C, and C++ is required, and experience with simulation tools like MATLAB is beneficial. You should also have experience working with Lean and Agile development methods. Strong English communication skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving are essential for this role.
