YipitData, a leading market research and analytics firm for the disruptive economy, is seeking a remote-friendly Staff Software Engineer, AI in the USA to join our Corporate organization IT team. This senior-level role focuses on building AI-enabled products and analytics experiences, including our analytics portal and Insight Agent offerings used by major US retailers and brands.
Role Requirements and Background
- Master’s degree required.
- 7+ years of experience architecting and developing full-stack applications, building user experiences, and scalable distributed systems.
- 5+ years of experience working with technologies such as Python, React, AWS, and modern data platforms.
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered products and Agent Experiences, including Agent Loop design, MCP integration, and custom tool development.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, APIs, observability, messaging, workflow patterns, and infrastructure impact.
What You Will Do
- Own features and systems end-to-end for the Corporate Insight Agent, managing the full lifecycle from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, deployment, and iteration.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across the technology stack while reporting to the Head of Corporate Applications.
