VP Associate (m/f/d) Driving Role in Berlin
Buena is hiring a VP Associate (m/f/d) for a full-time entry-level driving and operations position based in Berlin. As Germany's third-largest property manager with over 70,000 units across 12 locations, Buena acquires property management companies and implements proprietary software to scale revenue and margins.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze P&Ls, model unit economics, and run acquisition numbers to support due diligence.
- Drive on-the-ground integration, work with site leads to transition companies onto the Buena platform, and improve margins.
- Evaluate and help launch adjacent revenue opportunities such as insurance, brokerage, and energy.
- Manage cross-functional projects end-to-end, including regulatory compliance, operational tasks, and portfolio company recruiting.
- Act as the strategic sparring partner and right hand to Linus, VP of Property Management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Primary / Matric education level and 0 to 2 years of professional experience in consulting, operations, finance, or a startup environment.
- Fluent German language skills at C2 or native level, as this is a German-language operating environment.
- Based in Berlin with a willingness to travel regularly to portfolio companies across Germany.
- Comfort working under pressure and handling P&Ls and financial modeling with high ownership.
- Background in property management, real estate, post-merger integration, or software rollouts is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
The position includes a salary of €500/month, top-tier compensation with virtual stock options, and a €500/month housing allowance near HQ. Additional perks include a €110/month lunch budget, a €50 fitness subsidy, daily breakfast, and specialty coffee at the office.
