OXG Glasfaser GmbH is looking for a Werkstudent Einkauf für Tiefbau- und Planungsleistungen im Glasfaserausbau (m/w/d) for its telecom operations in Düsseldorf und Remote. This entry level position is designed for students wanting to gain practical experience in operational and strategic procurement for fiber optic expansion projects.
What You Will Do
- Handle procurement of civil engineering and planning services, order processing, and documentation.
- Support tender processes by preparing documents, obtaining and comparing quotes, and assisting with award decisions and negotiations.
- Conduct market research on prices and suppliers, maintain purchasing and contract data, and create reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering, planning, project management, and controlling departments to optimize purchasing processes.
- Take on independent tasks and smaller projects in procurement following your initial onboarding.
What We Are Looking For
- Currently enrolled student, ideally in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Business Law, or a related field.
- Preferably some prior practical experience from internships or previous student jobs.
- Interest in technical, organizational, and legal workflows related to civil engineering and planning services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, alongside very good written and spoken German skills.
- Open-minded, team-oriented approach with strong reliability and initiative.
- Availability for at least 12 months, with requested start date and duration to be specified in your application.
