Spotify is hiring an entry-level Android Engineer - Subscriptions for an Engineering role based in the EMEA region. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. You will work flexibly from locations within EMEA where Spotify has a work office, excluding France due to on-call restrictions, operating primarily within Central European and GMT time zones.
In this engineering position, you will design, build, and evolve mobile experiences on Spotify's consumer surfaces while contributing to reusable mobile foundations and frameworks. Your daily work involves collaborating with cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to shape technical strategy and product direction.
Candidates must have experience developing Android applications using Kotlin and a strong understanding of how to build maintainable, scalable, and well-tested software systems. You should care deeply about code quality, testing, and documentation while demonstrating a growth mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to explore modern engineering workflows such as AI-assisted development tools.
