Arbeitsvorbereiter (m/w/d)

Photon AG is currently hiring an Arbeitsvorbereiter (m/w/d) based in Berlin to support their laser welding production facilities. This role is central to maintaining the reliability and efficiency of highly automated systems used in the manufacturing of lightweight components for sustainable mobility.

Core Responsibilities

As a member of the technical team, you will focus on keeping production lines running smoothly. Your daily tasks include performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on automated laser welding equipment. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving faults across mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as documenting all technical changes and maintenance activities. Beyond daily repairs, you will actively contribute to the optimization of production processes and assist in the commissioning of new equipment, working closely alongside the quality assurance and process development departments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a completed technical education, such as training as a Mechatroniker, Elektroniker für Betriebstechnik, or Industriemechaniker. Candidates should have practical experience in the maintenance of industrial production facilities. A strong technical understanding of mechanics, electrical engineering, and pneumatics is essential. While not mandatory, experience with laser and welding technology, as well as familiarity with SPS-controlled systems or KUKA/Reis controls, is considered an advantage. You should be comfortable working in a structured, independent manner.
