Associate Privacy Consultant – SMB (m/f/d) in Munich
DataGuard, a fast-growing security and compliance tech company with offices including Munich, Berlin, London, Stockholm, and Vienna, is seeking an Associate Privacy Consultant – SMB (m/f/d) for a mid-level role based in Munich. In this position, you will take ownership of an established customer base, helping companies translate GDPR requirements into pragmatic privacy practices using the company's AI-powered platform.
Your Responsibilities
- Advise and support your own customer base on data protection, focusing on retention and long-term value.
- Translate complex GDPR topics into clear, customer-friendly guidance.
- Drive platform adoption and engagement by helping customers use DataGuard as their central privacy hub.
- Incorporate AI tools into workflows while critically reviewing outputs using your subject matter expertise.
- Collaborate with privacy, automation, and product teams to share insights and improve workflows.

Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience in privacy consulting, customer advisory, audits, or handling privacy-related requests.
- Strong GDPR and privacy knowledge, ideally backed by a legal, business law, or comparable privacy-focused background.
- Native-level fluency in German and strong professional English skills.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity toward AI tools and automation.
