Business Data Analyst Finance & Requirements Management (m/w/d)

Aer Group is hiring a Business Data Analyst Finance & Requirements Management (m/w/d) for an IT role based at their Berlin Boppstr. location. This entry-level position is offered on a part-time basis with 30 hours per week and requires a bachelor's degree or comparable qualification in business administration, finance, controlling, business informatics, or data analysis, along with 0-2 years of experience. In this position, you will act as the vital link between business units, finance, and technical teams to translate complex requirements into viable, data-driven solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Gather, structure, and evaluate requirements from business, finance, and controlling departments.
• Analyze business processes, data flows, and use cases focusing on accounting, billing, commissions, and reporting.
• Verify data for plausibility, completeness, consistency, and suitability.
• Create functional concepts, specifications, data logic, mapping documentation, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
• Coordinate requirements with stakeholders and support quality assurance and solution validation.

Your Profile & Qualifications

• Completed degree or training in business, finance, business informatics, data analysis, or a similar field.
• Professional experience in analyzing commercial, financial, or billing-related data, as well as in business analysis or requirements engineering.
• Strong understanding of business and finance processes, data structures, and data quality.
• Familiarity with BI and reporting solutions, plus knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar programming languages (considered an advantage).
• Very good German skills and good English proficiency.
