Atomic is seeking a Chief Operating Officer for Golden Child, a senior-level management role based in the USA (Miami). In this hands-on position, you will build and scale the operating engine behind our pet nutrition brand, owning the entire journey from ingredient sourcing and manufacturing to inventory, fulfillment, and delivery.
Operational Scope
You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with Culinary, Veterinary Nutrition, Product, Finance, and Growth teams. Core responsibilities include:
- Supply Chain & Fulfillment: Manage end-to-end supply chain operations, co-manufacturing partnerships, and cold-chain logistics while maintaining high standards for quality and freshness.
- Gross Margin & Unit Economics: Drive operational levers to improve gross margins, optimize vendor terms, and scale unit economics.
- Manufacturing & Operational Scale: Build out operational infrastructure, translate demand forecasts into production plans, and evaluate long-term manufacturing strategies.
- Product Commercialization: Partner with R&D and product teams to bring new physical products from concept to commercial launch.
- Quality & Food Safety: Establish rigorous safety and traceability systems across the expanding supply chain.
- Systems & Infrastructure: Implement an AI-forward operational technology stack to automate workflows and improve forecasting.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this Chief Operating Officer position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- The ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels in an early-stage consumer brand environment.
