Customer Contract Manager - Offshore Wind in the UK
GE Vernova is seeking a senior-level Customer Contract Manager - Offshore Wind to join their team in the UK within the oil and gas and energy sector. This position focuses on warranty and commercial topics, managing warranty, claims, and related contractual matters across offshore wind supply and operations projects.
Key Responsibilities and Scope
- Lead commercial management of warranty and claims activities across Offshore Wind supply and operations contracts.
- Manage customer expectations regarding warranty scope, entitlements, exclusions, remedies, and settlement outcomes.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies for claims mitigation, refutation, negotiation, and resolution.
- Review active Service Warranty Agreements (SWAs) and Turbine Supply Agreements (TSAs) to identify risks, liabilities, and commercial exposure.
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to support root cause analysis, liability assessment, and risk positioning.
- Contribute to the development and standardization of warranty frameworks across SWA, TSA, and Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) structures.
- Ensure claims, notices, and contractual correspondence are managed within required systems and governance processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of extensive experience in commercial management, contract management, claims, or risk management within power, energy, or offshore wind.
- Strong background in warranty administration, contract execution, and negotiating complex commercial matters.
- Fluency in English is required, with an additional European language preferred.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.
