Cybersecurity Intern (m/w/d)

Trusteq GmbH is currently offering an IT Internship as a Cybersecurity Intern (m/w/d) based in München. This internship is designed for individuals who are currently studying or already hold a background in fields such as (Business) Computer Science, Economics, Software Development, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a comparable discipline.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and executing client projects involving risk management, identity and access management, the EUDI wallet, digital identities, DevSecOps, and AI security.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security strategies and solutions.
• Work on internal research and development projects within cybersecurity.
• Support the team in developing innovative ideas and conducting research for client presentations and proposals.
• Document security measures, prepare reports, and present findings.

What We Are Looking For

Applicants should have a solid foundational understanding of IT security, a passion for digital identities, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You should work independently and in a structured manner while being a motivated team player. Preference is given to candidates with some experience or knowledge in digital identities, Identity & Access Management (IAM), the EUDI Wallet, common security tools, and relevant regulations like NIS2 and DORA. Very good German and English language skills, at least at the C1 level in both, are required.
