Data Engineer (all genders) – IT Jobs in Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf & Remote

Eraneos is seeking an Entry Level Data Engineer (all genders) to join their cloud and data engineering IT team in Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf, or remotely. As part of a global management consultancy's analytics unit, you will help DAX and Fortune Global 500 leaders turn data-driven strategies into production systems within an international, agile environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of projects from scoping to delivery
• Design batch and streaming data architectures
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Build Python ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
• Work with data lake technologies, data warehouses, and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Create web APIs with FastAPI or Flask and automate deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and bring fresh, relevant hands-on experience with a cloud hyperscaler such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. You should be skilled in Python development, database performance tuning, data workflow orchestration, and containerization. Excellent German language skills (C1) and conversational English skills are required, along with a willingness to occasionally travel to clients.
