EITCO GmbH is seeking an entry-level professional with a Master's degree and 0-2 years of experience to join their Application Management Services team as a DevOps Engineer Application Management Services (m/w/d). Based out of offices in Berlin, Bonn, or Essen, this IT role involves designing complete operational and deployment platforms rather than just running pipelines, supporting solutions within the statutory accident insurance sector.

Core Responsibilities and Technology Stack

You will take responsibility for productive customer environments by implementing automated build, test, and deployment processes, developing proprietary Puppet modules, and conducting rollouts. Your work will also include handling third-level support and troubleshooting, operating Kubernetes platforms using GitOps principles, and building observability solutions with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. The wider technology stack involves Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform, Docker, PostgreSQL, Ubuntu Linux, and Windows Server.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in an IT-related field
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience in a Linux environment alongside automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Understanding of modern DevOps principles and a strong drive for sustainable, independent work
• Deeper knowledge in at least one key area: Puppet/Bolt, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes/CAPI, or Linux administration
• Native-level German skills and good English proficiency
