Director of Finance

Almedia, ranked as Europe's #3 fastest-growing company in 2025 by the FT1000 and aiming to become Germany's second bootstrapped unicorn, is seeking a Director of Finance in Berlin. This senior-level finance position requires candidates to hold a Bachelor's degree and bring five or more years of relevant experience to a high-intensity, five-day-a-week in-office environment.

Director of Finance Role and Core Responsibilities

In this hands-on senior position, you will lead strategic finance initiatives, FP&A, capital markets activities, and M&A execution. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve building financial models, evaluating build-vs-buy opportunities, supporting equity and debt financing, and establishing scalable finance processes while partnering directly with leadership.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in strategic finance, private equity, investment banking, or high-growth finance
• Comprehensive skill set spanning corporate finance, FP&A, capital markets, valuation, and M&A
• Advanced financial modeling rigor with the ability to build dynamic models from scratch
• Executive-level communication skills and a high-ownership mindset

The salary for this Berlin-based Director of Finance role is €120,000 to €150,000, with a total compensation of €200,000 including equity.
