Kaufmännischer Leiter (m/w/d) - Hamburg - Finance
Jan Pethe Interim Management & Consulting GmbH (JPIMC®) is hiring a Kaufmännischer Leiter (m/w/d) for an established, medium-sized technical-industrial company based in Hamburg. This is an entry-level, permanent, full-time position focused on finance. With approximately 90 employees, the company requires a hands-on professional who prefers a generalist, operative role over a strictly delegatory management position.
The successful candidate will work closely with company leadership, purchasing, and human resources to manage daily financial processes. This role is designed for someone who enjoys driving projects, improving financial transparency, and working directly on core business tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing operative finance, accounting, and controlling processes.
- Preparing and coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handling budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning in coordination with management.
- Collaborating with HR and purchasing departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Developing internal financial controls, reporting structures, and process optimizations.
- Acting as the primary contact for external partners, including banks, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Supporting daily accounting and controlling inquiries.
Requirements
- A completed Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
- 0-2 years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office, specifically Excel.
- A pragmatic, analytical, and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
