Zauber Technology GmbH is hiring an entry-level Forward Deployed Engineer in Berlin to build autonomous AI agents for the global logistics industry. This engineering role is designed for someone with 0-2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree who wants to work directly with customers in the field and help reshape global trade.
What You Will Do
- Sit with logistics teams to understand workflows and translate them into clear system design.
- Build fast, AI-powered tools across the stack using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate with enterprise ecosystems like ERP, TMS, SFTP, and event queues while building pipelines for messy data.
- Shape product direction and technical decisions alongside the founding team.
- Travel to key accounts in Europe and Asia.
Requirements and Technical Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Fluency in TypeScript and Node.js, with frontend React experience considered a plus.
- Experience handling APIs, external integrations, and enterprise data systems, plus the ability to design and scale backend infrastructure.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as Docker, Terraform, GCP, or AWS.
- Bonus qualification: Experience working with GenAI and LLM architectures including RAG, evals, and orchestration.
Location and Compensation
The position is based out of the Berlin office, though hybrid setups are open. The role includes a salary of $600, top-of-market compensation, meaningful early equity, annual team offsites, and direct exposure to customers and decision-making.
