Forward Deployed Engineer in Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf, or Remote
Eraneos is looking for an entry-level Forward Deployed Engineer to join their engineering team in Hamburg, München, Düsseldorf, or remotely. This role focuses on closing the gap between AI strategy and production systems for DAX and Fortune Global 500 clients, taking initiatives from the initial idea all the way to a running system.
Core Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical implementation of end-to-end AI solutions from strategy to production.
- Build agentic systems, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations in enterprise environments using agentic coding tools.
- Represent technical decisions directly at the executive level without intermediary layers.
- Maintain accountability until solutions are running and delivering real impact.
Requirements
- A completed Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, physics, data science, business informatics, or a comparable field.
- Proven experience bringing LLM-based systems into production, ideally as a Forward-Deployed or Founding Engineer.
- Production-grade Python skills (including FastAPI, containers, Git, and CI/CD) alongside a deep understanding of agentic architectures, retrieval methods, and function calling.
- Ability to defend technical decisions directly in front of top management.
- German proficiency of at least C1 and business-fluent English.
- Willingness to work regularly on-site at client locations.
