ecosio, part of Nasdaq-listed Vertex, Inc., is hiring an entry-level Full Stack Developer - Java & React (f/m/d) for IT work across Austria, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and the UK. This remote-first position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering and 0 to 2 years of experience. The salary is market competitive.
Responsibilities and Tech Stack
- Develop, maintain, and take ownership of web application features from ideation to deployment.
- Write comprehensive unit tests and follow secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with product owners and build systems for the Onboarding & Operations team.
- Work with Java, Spring, SpringBoot, Apache Camel, and JUnit in the backend.
- Use TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Material UI, Semantic UI, React Final Form, TanStack Query, and React Testing Library in the frontend.
- Utilize infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD, alongside data storage like MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, and Elasticsearch, plus Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.
Requirements
- Experience in computer science or engineering, backed by several years of enterprise web application development work.
- Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React (Angular or Vue are also accepted).
- Relevant work experience with Java 11+ and Spring / Spring Boot.
- Good knowledge of software design patterns and a good command of written and spoken technical English.
- Nice-to-have qualifications include design system knowledge and an understanding of NoSQL DB systems.
