Avomind is hiring a German Speaking Senior Accountant on behalf of a growing hospitality technology company in Germany. This senior-level accounting role sits within the finance team of a firm helping hotels across Europe maximize direct bookings and streamline operations. The position offers a fully remote working setup with a market competitive salary.
Key Accounting Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and year-end financial close activities, prepare complex journal entries, and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, invoice processing, supplier payments, and employee expense reports.
- Prepare monthly VAT returns, maintain internal controls, and coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, track customer churn, and deliver management reporting to support business decisions.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree.
- Bring a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally gained within a technology or SaaS environment.
- Possess the mandatory ability to speak, read, and write in German.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of accrual accounting principles, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and a passion for process automation.
