Head of Financial Crimes Management in the USA

Flex is looking for a senior-level Head of Financial Crimes to own and build our financial crime risk management function. This senior management role operates in the USA with options for remote work or locations in San Francisco, Miami, and New York. Reporting directly to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, you will serve as the day-to-day BSA Officer responsible for a global suite of products, managing our Global BSA/AML program as we scale.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and bring 7 to 10 years of relevant experience running a program on a global scale, alongside familiarity with digital currency and stablecoins. The position offers a salary range of $210,000 to $260,000+ per year depending on experience, plus equity.

Core Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of the Global BSA/AML program, covering policy, governance, risk assessment, and regulatory reporting.
• Developing a crypto and stablecoin financial crime program that addresses on/off ramp activity, issuance, and redemption typologies.
• Enhancing transaction monitoring, CIP/KYC, CDD/EDD, Sanctions/OFAC, and fraud detection capabilities.
• Managing regulator and bank partner exam readiness, remediation timelines, and findings.
• Analyzing trends in transactional anomalies, fraud attempts, and AML alerts to recommend emerging threat remediations.
