Leading the Design Team

In this senior position, you will lead and grow a 15-person design team through Amplitude's next phase of growth as the company evolves into an AI-native platform. This is not a purely administrative job or an executive role that only manages upwards; you will stay deeply involved in production, pairing with designers on complex UX puzzles, setting design strategy across Core Amplitude, Statsig, and Wave, and acting as the voice of the customer in leadership discussions.

• Balance systems-level thinking with pixel-level craft

Candidates must have a portfolio demonstrating systems-level thinking and pixel-level craft, direct experience managing senior IC designers, a track record of shipping products that moved metrics quickly, and hands-on experience building AI-native experiences.
