Infrastructure Engineer

Airtm is seeking a mid-level Infrastructure Engineer for a fully remote Engineering role open exclusively to candidates based in LATAM. In this position, you will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform systems, working closely with development teams to support scalable and secure products, including cloud infrastructure tailored for AI and LLM workloads.

Core Responsibilities for LATAM Infrastructure Engineer Candidates

• Design and manage AWS cloud services, including VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and Lambda.
• Develop Terraform modules for Infrastructure as Code and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and Docker containerization.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, implement monitoring and logging, and enforce infrastructure security best practices.
• Write TypeScript and Bash scripts to automate tasks and provision infrastructure for AI agent frameworks and LLMs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and have 4+ years of proven experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering. The role requires strong proficiency in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, TypeScript, and Bash scripting, alongside networking fundamentals and cross-functional communication skills. Experience coding in Golang and knowledge of GitOps practices are listed as nice-to-have qualifications. Salary is market competitive.
