Junior Software Engineer - Platforms (all genders)

gridX GmbH is hiring a Junior Software Engineer - Platforms (all genders) for an entry-level IT role based remotely in Germany, or out of their Aachen or Munich offices. This position requires a Master's degree and 0 to 2 years of experience, with a salary of €1,500. Please note that applications are only accepted from candidates currently located in Germany.

Your Role on the Platforms Team

As part of the Cloud Connector team, you will build and maintain backend services to integrate external energy providers into the gridX platform. Your day-to-day work involves implementing new cloud integrations using API documentation, OAuth specifications, and webhook contracts, while leveraging AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows. You will also evolve the integration framework, debug distributed pipeline failures, write comprehensive tests, and contribute to API specifications.
