Market & Regulation Analyst Intern/Werkstudent in Munich

Atmen Solutions GmbH is a Munich-based RegTech startup focused on automating compliance and certification for energy-intensive industries, such as fuels, chemicals, and materials. We are currently looking for a motivated Market & Regulation Analyst Intern or Werkstudent to join our team during a critical phase of our company’s growth. This role sits at the intersection of regulatory analysis, market research, and sales support, working closely with our commercial lead.

In this position, you will help translate complex EU regulations regarding hydrogen and low-carbon fuels into actionable insights for our team and customers. You will play a key part in bridging the gap between intricate policy and practical, technology-enabled certification.

Your Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Research: Track and analyze EU hydrogen and low-carbon fuel regulations (including RFNBO rules, the Low Carbon Delegated Act, RED III, and ISCC schemes). You will synthesize consultations, working group materials, and industry updates into structured reports.
  • Market Intelligence: Rapidly assess new market segments to determine attractiveness, map out key industry players—such as producers, offtakers, and certification bodies—and build a clear understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Content Creation: Translate complex regulatory information into accessible formats. This includes drafting market updates, creating diagrams or flowcharts to simplify policy, and helping prepare content for webinars and customer-facing materials.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Support: Contribute to our regulatory knowledge base, join calls with key industrial clients to provide regulatory expertise, and support outreach to regulatory contacts and industry associations.

What We Look For

We require a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree who is proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently. You should possess a strong curiosity for industrial decarbonization and the ability to handle the "nitty-gritty" details of energy policy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will be managing communication with external partners and clients. We value emotional intelligence, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to deliver clear, professional results while navigating a complex regulatory environment.

This internship offers the opportunity to engage directly with industry pioneers and contribute to the scalable success of our technology. Please apply via the official company portal.
