Marketplace Operations Manager II Remote USA Management Role
Wheel is seeking a senior-level Marketplace Operations Manager II to join their remote team in the USA. This is an operator's position focused on owning visit delivery, program-level consult cost performance, and roster health for a defined set of client programs. The salary range for this management role is $122,075 to $155,000 per year. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and have five or more years of relevant experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Own marketplace performance outcomes including SLA attainment, program-level clinician pay cost, and roster or staffing health for assigned client programs.
- Manage roster composition and staffing strategy, building and adjusting rosters to maintain SLAs through client growth, churn, and volatility.
- Handle operational data analytics and reporting by pulling and interrogating utilization, breach-pattern, and profitability data to drive action.
- Establish the operating rhythm and upward performance visibility through recurring performance reviews.
- Partner with the Capacity Planner to understand near-term volatility and own the operational response, such as escalation thresholds and incentive levers.
- Optimize program-level clinician pay cost and deploy consult incentive spend within a defined budget while accounting for variance.
- Author real-time escalation and response playbooks, review and audit AI agent decisions, and act as the human-in-the-loop to ensure trustworthy automated responses.
