Kalshi is hiring a senior-level Payments Lead to manage the full lifecycle of payments across strategy and hands-on execution. As the fastest-growing financial market in America, Kalshi operates prediction markets that turn questions about the future into financial assets. In this management role based in the USA, you will own the deposits, withdrawals, and PSP integration roadmap while collaborating with engineering, growth, compliance, and legal teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the payments roadmap to improve deposit and withdrawal success, speed, and user experience.
• Manage relationships and negotiate terms with PSPs, banks, and financial partners.
• Optimize conversion, authorization rates, settlement times, and payout flows using data-driven experiments.
• Track payment health KPIs, build dashboards, and monitor latency, chargebacks, and declines.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to support KYC, AML, and CFTC obligations.
• Oversee fraud prevention tools, policies, and risk controls while maintaining a smooth user experience.
• Handle hands-on payment operations, test integrations, and resolve daily reconciliation issues.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and have 5+ years of experience working in payments, fintech, or product operations. You should possess a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, including processors, acquirers, PSPs, and settlement processes, alongside proven vendor negotiation skills. The ideal candidate brings analytical proficiency to model economics and analyze funnel data, a strong bias toward action, and experience driving cross-functional projects with engineering and compliance teams.
