LivePerson, a Conversational AI company powering nearly a billion interactions monthly for brands like HSBC, Orange, and GMFinancial, is seeking a mid-level SecOps Engineer I for its engineering team in Bulgaria. This role requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in IT or system teams within a SaaS or cloud company, with market competitive compensation provided.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus
- Provide operational support for SecOps tool alerts, triaging, maintenance, and investigate cybersecurity incidents.
- Monitor email, ticketing systems, log files, and transactional data to identify malicious or anomalous activity.
- Work with stakeholders to test and uncover vulnerabilities, and assist with documentation for SOPs and playbooks.
- Handle IT and operations infrastructure to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, availability, and effective performance.
- Collaborate with IT and System teams on configuration management and hardening for cloud and infrastructure tools.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and support during US hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT/System teams in a SaaS or cloud company.
- Expertise in system or information security engineering, cloud security, networking technologies, and monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments, GCP, Elastic, OKTA, IDM, AD, JAMF, and Windows, Linux, and MacOS operating systems.
- Valid CompTIA CySA+ Certificate and strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of Python or Go is considered a big advantage.
