Cube Green Energy Topco Ltd is seeking a Senior Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) to strengthen their central accounting team at the Berlin office. In this senior-level accounting position, you will take on the functional leadership of AP/AR accountants, oversee multiple company entities, and help build out a modern, international finance organization within the renewable energy sector.
Senior Accounting Tasks in Berlin
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS standards.
- Provide functional guidance and support to AP/AR accountants.
- Contribute to group reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and tax filings such as VAT returns.
- Coordinate annual financial and tax audits.
- Collaborate on the ongoing development of the Oracle NetSuite ERP system and optimize accounting processes alongside controlling, treasury, and operations.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training with further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter, or a comparable bachelor's-level education.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, featuring solid, multi-year experience in independently preparing financial statements.
- Good knowledge of HGB and IFRS, alongside experience in a corporate group environment.
- Good German and English language skills (minimum B2 level).
- Proficient Excel skills, with prior ERP experience (Oracle NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics) considered an advantage.
