Senior Accountant (m/w/d) in Accounting in München

Snke in München is looking for a Senior Accountant (m/w/d) to join on a full-time or part-time basis at a senior level. In this role, you will take on responsibility for the operational and balance-sheet day-to-day business of several group companies, helping to build and develop financial structures as a newly independent company. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure transparent, reliable, and compliant financial processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Independent processing of day-to-day operations including travel expenses, banking, intercompany clearing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and local accounting regulations.
• Critical review and analytical validation of financial data, plus report creation for internal and external accounting.
• Serving as a contact point for tax advisors, auditors, authorities, and handling IFRS 16 queries within the Brainlab group.
• Assisting with VAT returns, statistical reports, tax refund applications, and annual corporate tax returns.
• Valuation, accounting, and reporting of financial instruments and investments under HGB and IFRS.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or commercial training with a focus on accounting, taxes, controlling, or a related field, alongside five or more years of relevant professional experience. You need solid knowledge of IFRS and HGB accounting, experience with the closing process, and proficiency in Excel and SAP Analysis for Office, with SAP application experience considered a plus. Strong spoken and written skills in both German and English are required, along with an analytical mindset and independent problem-solving abilities.
