Senior Accountant Accounting Job in Hamburg at ZEAL Network
ZEAL Network SE, Germany's leading online lottery provider with brands like LOTTO24 and Tipp24, is seeking a (Senior) Accountant (w/m/d) to join its finance team in Hamburg. Core Responsibilities
- Take charge of core general ledger topics, including accruals, payroll-related bookings, and account reconciliations.
- Contribute to monthly and annual financial statements under IFRS and their reconciliation to HGB for assigned group companies.
- Collaborate closely with Controlling, Group Reporting, Tax, Treasury, and Investor Relations.
- Drive process automation and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines and internal control systems (ICS).
- Support cross-functional projects related to the online platform, product launches, and process documentation.
What You Bring
- At least 5 years of professional experience in financial or general ledger accounting, backed by a Bachelor's degree.
- Very strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with standard accounting systems, with MS Dynamics Business Central or MS Dynamics NAV as a plus.
- Very good written and spoken proficiency in both German and English.
- Proactive communication, independent working style, and reliability.
- Additional advantages include certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter*in, experience with cash management software, or familiarity with reporting tools like FloQast.
