Senior Director of Fresh Grocery (Produce, Meat & Seafood)

Gopuff is seeking a Senior Director of Fresh Grocery (Produce, Meat & Seafood) for a senior-level management opportunity in the USA. Reporting to the SVP of Operations, this strategic leadership role carries full P&L ownership for the company's fresh grocery business, driving growth, profitability, and end-to-end execution across produce, meat, and seafood categories.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage financial performance, gross sales, margin contribution, shrink mitigation, and net profitability targets for the Fresh division.
• Directly handle high-level vendor relationships, contract negotiations, fulfillment rates, quality compliance, and cost of goods sold.
• Collaborate across Merchandising, Field Operations, Pricing, Marketing, and Supply Chain to align commercial and logistical goals from farm-to-shelf.
• Design regional and localized product assortments based on customer demand, dietary trends, and seasonal availability.
• Oversee pricing frameworks, promotional cadences, quality standards, cold-chain integrity, visual merchandising directives, and field training programs.

Requirements and Compensation

Candidates must hold a Master's degree and possess a minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience directing high-volume Fresh categories (Produce, Meat, and/or Seafood), built upon 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in grocery retail or fresh food operations. Applicants must also demonstrate extensive expertise in direct vendor management, supplier diversification, strategic contract negotiation, and SLA enforcement.

The base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $240,000, supplemented by a discretionary annual cash bonus, participation in Gopuff's equity incentive plan, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), flexible PTO, and employee discounts.
