Senior Electronic Warfare Engineer Role in Munich at Hypersonica

Hypersonica is seeking a senior-level Engineering professional to join its elite team in Munich and help build Europe's hypersonic capability. As a Senior Electronic Warfare Engineer, you will own the system architecture of the company's Electronic Warfare (EW) capability, ensuring that electronic support, electronic attack, and electronic protection functions operate as a coherent and mission-effective system.

In this senior engineering role, you will define and manage EW system requirements, lead architectural development, conduct threat and signal analyses, and oversee the integration of RF sensors, transmitters, and mission computers. You will also define modelling, simulation, and trial methodologies while acting as the technical authority across multidisciplinary defence programmes.

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience: 8+ years of experience delivering complex Electronic Warfare, RF, mission systems, avionics, aerospace, defence, or other mission-critical systems.

The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of EW concepts, electromagnetic spectrum operations, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approaches, along with a strong background in systems architecture and requirements verification throughout the engineering lifecycle.
