Senior Frontend Engineer (React) - Remote Friendly in Berlin
Qonto is seeking a Senior Level IT professional to join our team as a Senior Frontend Engineer (React) - Remote Friendly in Berlin. In this role, you will help build Europe's leading finance workspace, crafting web applications that serve over 600,000 SMEs across eight European countries. You can choose to work remotely as long as you live in, or are willing to relocate to, Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, or Spain.
Your Responsibilities
- Craft new customer-facing features within a squad team, owning quality from design to production.
- Grow in technical leadership by leading design discussions and contributing to guild-wide improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Mobile teams.
- Work AI-first by using tools like Claude and internal workflows to explore codebases, prototype, and accelerate delivery while maintaining human judgment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience using React.js, HTML, and pure CSS (note that Qonto does not use CSS libraries such as Tailwind).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high engineering standards.
