Senior Java Fullstack Developer (m/w/d) in Hamburg

virtual7 GmbH is looking for a Senior Java Fullstack Developer (m/w/d) for their IT team in Hamburg, Germany. In this senior-level role, you will help drive the digitalization of the public sector within the Customer Clusters Finance by building high-performing applications from backend to frontend.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and advance backend components using Java/Java EE and Spring.
• Create modern user interfaces with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Implement database access and connect relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
• Build and evolve CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and ensure software quality using JUnit, Mockito, and integration tests.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 5 years of practical experience in software development. You need solid knowledge of Java, Spring, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, alongside familiarity with CI/CD processes, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL and application servers such as JBoss is beneficial. Candidates must possess very good German language skills at a C1 level and conversational English, along with a willingness to attend regular on-site meetings despite an 80% remote work allowance.
