virtual7 GmbH is looking for a (Senior) Oracle Data Warehouse / BI-Developer (m/w/d) to join their team in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg. As an IT service provider, the organization focuses on driving digitalization for the public sector. In this senior-level IT role, you will design high-performance business intelligence solutions within the Customer Cluster Finance, translating technical and business requirements into stable data architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and specify requirements in the BI and data warehouse environment.
- Perform software design and data modeling using Data Vault principles.
- Implement integration routes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Develop and provide reports and dashboards via OBIEE or Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
- Design user interfaces for analytics and reporting applications.
- Apply BI-specific methods such as data mining, analytical SQL, Python, or R.
- Handle quality assurance, documentation, and senior-level software architecture development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Extensive experience with OBIEE or Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Familiarity with Data Vault modeling, SQL Developer or PL/SQL Developer, and GIT.
- Proficiency in BI analytical methods including data mining, analytical SQL, Python, or R.
- Very good German skills at C1 level and conversational English.
- Readiness for regular on-site meetings, alongside an 80% remote work share.
