Senior Product Designer - Mobile Job in Berlin
GALVANY is seeking a Senior Product Designer - Mobile to join their Design team in Berlin. In this senior-level design role, you will shape the mobile experience across customer apps for sales, installation, and homeowners at a profitable green-tech startup focused on making climate-neutral living a reality through software and smart energy solutions.
What You Will Do
- Design aesthetic, mobile-first interfaces with pixel-perfect UI for native and responsive mobile experiences.
- Develop and evolve the visual design system, covering typography, color, iconography, spacing, and component libraries.
- Translate dense energy data and multi-step workflows into intuitive visual hierarchies for small screens.
- Conduct usability tests, field studies with installers, and remote testing sessions to validate mobile flows.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations from early concepts to shipped pixels.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Master's degree education required.
- 5+ years of experience shipping digital products with a strong emphasis on mobile design for iOS, Android, responsive web, or hybrid platforms.
- Exceptional eye for typography, layout, color, and motion design, backed by a strong portfolio.
- Deep understanding of mobile design patterns, platform conventions such as iOS HIG and Material Design, and touch interactions.
- Proficiency with Figma, including prototyping and component architecture.
- Fluent in both English (C1) and German (C1).
