**Senior Product Manager, Growth & Engagement — Mural**
So Mural is basically trying to change how teams actually work together — not just give them another tool to ignore, but build something that genuinely makes collaboration feel less painful. The Growth & Engagement team sits right at the center of that, focused on getting users to actually stick around, invite their teammates, and eventually become paying customers.
This role owns a pretty wide slice of that. You'd be responsible for the whole self-serve journey — what happens when someone signs up, how they figure out the product, whether they come back the next day or just disappear. Onboarding, activation, the little nudges that bring people back — all of that is in your lane. And then further down the funnel, you'd be working on what pushes someone from a free account to actually pulling out a credit card.
Day to day, that means a lot of experimentation. A/B tests, digging into analytics, figuring out which metric actually matters versus which one just looks good in a dashboard. You'd work closely with engineering and design obviously, but also marketing and sales — especially as the team tries to navigate that messy transition from pure self-serve to having actual sales reps involved.
What they're looking for is someone with at least five years in product, with a good chunk of that in growth or PLG specifically. You should genuinely understand what activation and retention mean, not just the words but the actual levers. SQL experience matters here — this isn't a role where you hand everything off to a data analyst. AI tools too, they want someone already using them, not someone planning to start.
Collaboration or productivity product experience is a plus but not a hard requirement.
