Senior Systems Analyst – Oracle HCM (UK)

Datavant is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst – Oracle HCM to join our HRIT team in the UK. This role is focused on the remediation and optimization of our Oracle Cloud HCM implementation, requiring a candidate who can manage technical workstreams across integrations, reporting, and system improvements within the HR Admin domain.

As a member of the Datavant team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HCM Extracts, and BI Publisher. This position involves translating functional requirements into technical solutions, conducting performance assessments, and supporting quarterly patching and regression testing in alignment with ITGC/SOX standards. You will also utilize Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to develop extensions and UI customizations to enhance user experience.

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as an Oracle HCM Technical Consultant or Systems Analyst.
  • Expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Absence, and Time & Labor.
  • Technical proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HCM Extracts, FBDI, HDL, HSDL, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Strong experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, and SQL.
  • Ability to build extensions and UI customizations using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
  • Solid understanding of Oracle security roles, data structures, and APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with prior experience working in fast-paced, highly regulated environments, such as healthcare or SOX-compliant organizations, are preferred. Additional knowledge of event-driven integrations, Atom feeds, Oracle HCM Analytics, and Jira is considered an asset for this role. You must be able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team to provide ongoing production support and incident resolution.
