Territory Sales Representative - Connacht

Polypipe Ulster, a division of the Genuit Group, is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to cover the Connacht region. This is an entry-level sales position focused on account management, lead generation, and business development within the domestic, commercial, and industrial construction sectors. You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing merchant partners and contractors while actively growing the Genuit product portfolio across your territory.

Key Accountabilities

• Build and maintain strong trading relationships, monitoring customer performance and buying behaviour.
• Drive sales and profit growth by providing solution-based support and expert product knowledge.
• Manage a target list of prospects to increase market share and develop a healthy project pipeline, engaging with contractors, specifiers, and M&E consultants.
• Conduct regular branch reviews with merchant partners to strengthen relationships and expand product offerings.
• Utilise data tools such as Excel and QlikView to analyse customer sales and inform your commercial decisions.
• Represent the company at trade shows, sales meetings, and training sessions, collaborating with marketing teams on promotions and collateral.

Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the construction industry and experience in solution selling. You must be able to communicate effectively across various media and be comfortable working independently to prioritise a wide range of tasks. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite—specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint—is required.

Candidates must hold a full, clean driving licence and possess eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland. While this position is classified as entry-level, we are looking for candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
