Solace, a Series C healthcare startup founded in 2022 and backed by prominent venture firms, is seeking a VP of Clinical Services and Executive Medical Director for a senior-level management role in the USA. This position requires a candidate with at least a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience to lead and scale an expanding telehealth physician workforce.

Role Responsibilities and Leadership

Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, this high-visibility position serves as the principal operational physician executive for Solace. The leader will oversee day-to-day clinical leadership, manage performance for the physician group, and build the systems and governance structures needed to sustain quality standards during a period of rapid growth.

• Clinical Leadership: Supervise a growing team of medical directors and associate medical directors, establish accountability frameworks, and develop the physician leadership pipeline.
• Quality and Safety: Partner with the Medical Director for Clinical Quality to set strategy, define improvement targets, champion a culture of safety, and develop an accreditation readiness program.
• Clinical Operations: Align service delivery and capacity with clinical standards, enforce telehealth guidelines and documentation policies, and oversee clinical onboarding and performance monitoring.
• Strategic Growth: Co-develop clinical strategy for new service lines with the CMO and define the clinical operations plan, resource requirements, and success metrics.
